Glastonbury Tickets Sell Out

Tickets for the legandary music festival taking place this June have already sold out.

The Festival launched its deposit scheme for the early sale of tickets in October 2008, with the vast majority of festival-goers completing their full payment by the deadline of February 1.

All tickets are now sold but there will be a resale of a very limited number of cancelled tickets on April 5.

Organiser Emily Eavis said: "We're chuffed to bits that we've managed to sell so many tickets so far ahead, especially when you look at the weather outside.

Thanks to everyone for keeping the faith; it's certainly shaping up to be another vintage year for Glastonbury Festival, with a brilliant line up to be unveiled in June."

The event has sold out althought no acts have been revealed for the Somerset festival which will take place between 26th and 28th June. Femalefirst - Kate Teasdale
