Gnarls Barkley have hit out at the fans who downloaded their hit single.Dynamic dance duo Danger Mouse - 28-year-old American Brian Burton -and Cee-Lo Green topped the charts earlier this month with song 'Crazy' - becoming the first act to accomplish the feat based on download sales alone.Despite their achievement, Grammy-nominated Danger Mouse has slammed the act’s web savvy fans branding them lazy. He fumed to Britain’s Observer Music Monthly magazine: "When we were young we had tapes, and you listened to every track. You didn't fast forward in case you overshot. And songs you didn't like turned out to be your favourites, because the album became a person. It grew on you. Now, if kids don't like the first few bars, they're gone. You've got to grab them. I tell you what the problem is - it's downloading."Gnarls Barkley are not the only group to use the internet to promote themselves. The Artic Monkeys promoted their tracks on illegal download sites months before they hit the shops. When the group's debut album was finally released they shifted 120,000 copies in record time.
