Katy Perry Saved Mccoy's Life

Gym Class Heroes frontman Travis Mccoy has credited pop star girlfriend Katy Perry with saving his life - by rescuing him from a downward spiral of depression.The singer turned to lover Perry during one of the lowest points of his life - and is convinced it was her love that kept him from taking his own life.

Without even talking, she just listened. I truly believe that she saved my life.

He says, "There was this really, really dark point about two years ago when I just hit rock bottom... and I called Katy who was in L.A. at the time and said to her, 'Do you mind coming out and keeping me company? I'm not in a good state of mind right now.' "And I honestly think had she not come, I really don't think I would be here right now. "Without even talking, she just listened. I truly believe that she saved my life."
