Helping Haiti
The Helping Haiti single, Everybody Hurts has stormed right to the top of the charts this week, despite the fact that it isn’t actually very good.
Okay, so I concede that it’s for a good cause and its nice that we can help the earthquake-ravaged country, but then again, putting a couple of quid in HMV’s back pocket and getting the single to number one isn’t the same as donating £10 online.
Either way, all you who bought it and the likes of Leona, Mariah, Joe McElderry and Su-Bo can all give themselves a pat on the back as they’ve dome Simon Cowell proud.
And they were said to be ecstatic with the result last night, with Leona Lewis saying, "I'm so pleased that so many people are supporting this record." Whilst Alexandra Burke added, "I've seen where the money will go and that it really makes a difference."
