Ian Brown says there is "no way" the Stone Roses will reform. The band's former frontman says that, despite recent speculation, he has no plans to revive the group. When asked about the possibility of getting back with the group, he replied: "No chance. Not in the next three lifetimes."The band's former bassist, Mani - now a member of Primal Scream - revealed last month he, drummer Reni and guitarist John Squire have discussed getting back together. He told BBC 6Music: "I spoke to John and Reni about it a few years ago and they said they'd love to do it at some point in time, but Ian Brown seems dead set against it."If he changes his mind then we'll probably do it, but then I'll be back to Primal Scream after the one year of doing it."The Stone Roses split up in 1996 following the release of their ill-received second album, 'The Second Coming' in 1994 and John's departure in 1995.Ian has gone on to enjoy a successful solo career and occasionally plays his former band's songs during live shows.
