Iggy Pop Drummer Dead After Hit And Run

Former Iggy Pop drummer Alex Kirst has died following a hit-and-run accident in Cathedral City, California.

The 47 year old was hit by an SUV while he was out walking last week and left for dead.

The rocker was spotted by the side of the road hours later.

Prior to becoming Iggy Pop's sidekick in the Trolls, Kirst was the drummer in glam rock act the Nymphs. He appeared on Pop's album Skull Ring.
