Following their debut UK single ‘Don’t Stop’ which set dance-floors on fire across the country and enthused crowds in venues small and large during the band’s last trip to UK shores, Pennsylvania’s innerpartysystem is proud to announce a headline tour of the UK in October. The band are launching their second all-consuming track from forthcoming self-titled album just before the tour, as well as their hotly anticipated full-length debut. The new single ‘Die Tonight, Live Forever’ is another stunning amalgamation of Rock and Dance elements which packs a punch nobody can avoid.Innerpartysystem have made an impression on audiences in the UK already and are set to bring their music to an even wider audience with this second and equally impactful single. Their latest live stint in the UK included packed out headline dates and slots on festivals such as Projekt Revolution and 02 Wireless where their music reached thousands of people. ‘Don’t Stop’ also turned the heads of key Media people with enthusiastic support from the likes of Scuzz, Kerrang!, Zane Lowe, Jo Whiley and Dan Carter. The four members of innerpartysystem hail from the small towns that surround Reading, Pennsylvania. The rural, stark nature of the landscape has certainly had an effect on the band’s sound which incorporates throbbing electronic beats with the aesthetic of a rock band whom, like Nine Inch Nails, Pendulum and Prodigy, aren’t afraid to mix styles and mess with the formula.Drummer Jared Piccone thinks the small-town atmosphere comes through in the music – “I think a lot of that small-town angst comes through in the album. When we travel, people always seem to make a big deal out of us being from this small town in the middle of nowhere, which is true, but when you're living there and you grew up there you don't really think about it like that, it's just home. “I think when people hear a song like ‘This Town, Your Grave’ that vibe of small town desperation is definitely clear. This was also the influence for ‘Die Tonight, Live Forever’. I'm sure most kids will just dismiss the song as a 'party rager' but it's a little darker than that.” Of the album’s journey, Piccone has the following to say – “I don't think anyone listening to this record can truly understand how much of a roller coaster ride it's been from start to finish. In October of 2006 we made the conscious decision to start the band, move into a house together, and pretty much brush our 'normal' lives under the rug.

“We signed a deal with Stolen Transmission in January, thinking we would be recording our indie debut in our house, and things just snowballed from there. Fast forward a little over a year, the album's done, we've upstreamed to Island, we're playing festivals and arenas in the UK and just finished our first US tour.

“We've gotten the opportunity to work with producers and mixers that we really respect and look up to like Stuart Price (Madonna, Missy Elliott, The Killers, Gwen Stefani), Alan Moulder (Depeche Mode, Smashing Pumpkins, My Bloody Valentine) and Mark 'Spike' Stent (Marilyn Manson, Linkin Park, Goldfrapp).

“I mean, these are guys that we'd just audiophile geek out to their records so to actually get to work with them in the studio on our album was a headfuck for us.”

The album tracks that haven’t been in the public domain yet are shrouded in mystery but Piccone gives us a sneak peak at what’s in store - “There's a track called ‘New Poetry’. That's slower than what people might expect from us after hearing ‘Don't Stop’, but Stuart Price killed the production/mixing on it. Some of our favorite producers are Hip-Hop producers. That didn't really come across on the EP, but it does much more on the full length. There's another track called ‘Structure’ that's a similar vibe.” The band’s thundering second single ‘Die Tonight, Live Forever’ will be released on 22nd September through Fallout Records. It will be available on CD, seven inch and download along with remixes by Qemists and LA Riots. The single will be followed by the self-titled album on 29th September.
