JLS fans hospitalised

The X Factor finalists went and performed in their hometowns yesterday, but it wasn’t all fun and games for every fan after JLS fans were left hospitalized following a crush to see their idols.

Police have reported that hundreds of fans turned up to watch the guys perform in South London, but up to 30 fans had to be taken to hospital after a stampede too place outside the theatre in which they were to perform.

A whopping 3,000 fans descended on the venue, which turned out to be more than double the number expected, and JLS’ security team (yes, I know!) were unable to control the hoards of screaming fans.

Teenage girls were crushed against the barrier whilst others started fighting amongst themselves in a bid to be in the prime spot when their heroes arrived; but alas, the boys had to park a few streets away from the venue as police were worried their arrival would spark an even bigger riot.

The boys eventually took to the stage three hours later, after police managed to calm the crowd. Blimey! JLS' little Aston couldn’t believe to size of the crowd and claimed that he felt like Micheal Jackson or The Beatles…. Right.

Don’t worry though, the other X Factor finalists did get a few people showing up for their gigs too as Alexandra drew in a large crowd at Koko in Camden, North London, whilst Eoghan told screaming fans in Dungiven, Co Derry that he wanted "to win for Ireland".

I don’t think I can contain my excitement for this Saturday, it’s going to be me, a pizza and my new BBF; Blossom Hill.
