Jack Johnson Top New Artist - Kian Egan

Westlife's Kian Egan is a huge fan of Jack Johnson.The star says the Brit awards-winner is one of his favourite new artists, despite the fact he doesn't usually listen to singer/songwriters.He said: "I just got his new album and it's really great music to just have on and chill to. A few friends introduced me to him and I just really like his music. But I'm a rock fan at heart." Kian has also revealed he loves playing guitar - but doesn't have plans to swap pop for rock. He added to Britain's New magazine: "It's a great release to plug in your guitar, turn it up really loud and make lots of noise. My very first guitar was my favourite. It's called an Arian Pro II and my father bought it for my 15th birthday."For his 25th birthday, the hunk received a guitar from his fellow Westlife members that cost a whopping £2,500.
