Jamelia Slams Beyonce for Mime!

Soul star Jamelia is refusing to back down from her battle with Australian pop rival Peter AndreChart-topping Jamelia, 23, says Andre's hit Mysterious Girl is rubbish. And in a tirade, Jamelia also blasted superstars Beyonce and Britney calling them lip-syncing cheats. She went on to say that when she realised Beyonce mimes half to three-quarters of her show, that took a lot away for her in an interview with the Herald Sun. Out spoken Jamelia thought, are you an artist or are you an actress, although she understood the quest to be an entertainer, you don't put yourself out there as an artist if that's not what you are, she saidIn Melbourne, Jamelia said that miming superstars were ripping off punters.

As for Britney she came to England recently and mimed over every single track, Jamelia said.

The paper quoted her as saying, how the hell can she do a whole show and mime it? I feel it's cheating the fans and I think it's disgusting. Pop culture right now is about having a voice in the studio and not having to cut it live, and thatis ridiculous

. Jamelia, then renewed her onslaught on Andre. By saying In the UK, this year, Mysterious Girl, first released in 1996, beat Thank You to the top of the charts. Everyone knew it was rubbish, everyone knew it was rubbish 10 years ago, and it was still rubbish today, Jamelia told MTV in March, further saying that she thought Andre was the new Justin Timberlake! In Croatia." In the interview Jamelia was unrepentant, repeating It was exactly what she had previously said it was, a throwaway song, rubbish.

She also revealed Andre has since tried to win her support, and even though she apologised, she didn't take back what was said.
