British pop star Jamelia has written an open letter to fans accusing a magazine journalist of fabricating her attack on talent show winner Leona Lewis.The Dreams hitmaker was quoted in Star magazine describing X-Factor star Lewis as a "poor man's Mariah Carey" as well as slamming Lewis' mentor Simon Cowell.But Jamelia claims Star reporter Dominique Hines made up the quotes.The singer writes, "As you all should know, I am an extremely outspoken individual and will say it like it is. But one thing you should know for sure is that I'm not unnecessarily bitchy. Yes, I say things that are close to the bone, but I never have or will say disgusting things about people without just cause."Which brings me on to a recent "interview" I had with Dominique Hines of the Star Magazine. In the interview, I was asked a series of ill thought out questions, most of which were to lure me into saying headline making comments about other celebs."This 'journalist' wasn't happy with me being nice about Leona, so she had to make s**t up so her piece was more interesting and so it could then be regurgitated in the tabloids as gospel. Well I was going to sit back and do nothing, but she did the same thing to me the last time and I'm not standing for it."Instead Jamelia declares Lewis, 21, "amazingly talented" and insists music mogul Cowell made the right choice giving her a record deal.
