The British singer was visiting her younger sibling Kairo Beckford, who= is serving life for shooting dead a teenager, at Wakefield Prison, in We= st Yorkshire, England during the jail's annual open day.

Prisoners are allowed to play games and mingle with friends and family = at the event.

And Jamelia was singled out for special treatment when she arrived at t= he jail, as some of the country's most hardened criminals serenaded her o= n the PlayStation karaoke game SingStar, according to British newspaper t= he Daily Star.

Baylee was released from medical care on Saturday (20Dec08) but he will= continue to be monitored by specialists

A jail source tells the publication, "All eyes were on Jamelia.

Some of= the cons then started serenading her on SingStar.

It was the choir from = hell because all of them were serving life sentences.

The star also thanked hospital staff and fans for their support, adding= : "We are humbled by the love and compassion that people have for our son= all over the world, thank you!"
