Rihanna asked James Franco to play her man in the We Found Love video.
The movie star reveals he had to turn the offer down because of a scheduling conflict.
Franco tells MTV News, "She actually asked me to be in that video, the one with the relationship that gets crazy. I couldn't do it".
But the actor insists he would have been interested in the role under different circumstances, adding, "I do like Rihanna".
The R&B star eventually asked model Dudley O'Shaughnessy to play her love interest in the promo.
