Jarvis Cocker and Fatboy Slim have gone blue for charity.

The British pop stars have joined singer Little Boots and The Kooks' Luke Pritchard in a new campaign to promote climate change for Oxfam - by painting themselves blue.

The new campaign, which features the stars with painted faces, has been timed to tie in with the U.K.'s upcoming Glastonbury festival, which starts on Friday (26Jun09).

Go blue, demand that the Prime Minister takes the lead in protecting the people of this beautiful planet and kiss goodbye to climate change

The artists are urging British politicians to take more action against climate change, and they're asking fans to join in by painting themselvesblue when they attend festivals this summer (09).

In a statement to NME, Little Boots says, "Doing nothing is not the answer to fighting climate change. Go blue, demand that the Prime Minister takes the lead in protecting the people of this beautiful planet and kiss goodbye to climate change. If everyone does their bit we can save the planet".
