Jay-Z

Jay–Z and Sade are set to collaborate in a rare opportunity granted by the reclusive soul icon.

The Smooth Operator singer has always shied away from duets and last year turned down a duet request from hip-hop star Drake.

At the time, she said, "I've never collaborated because I've always avoided working outside my safety zone - I can be exactly who I am and can fail or succeed within the moment. I feel safe working like I do. I wouldn't want to work in a situation where I am expected to deliver, because I think I wouldn't deliver."

But Sade has made a special exception for Jay-Z after meeting him at mutual pal Alicia Keys' star-studded Keep A Child Alive Black Ball in New York in September.

Jay-Z features on a remixed version of Moon & The Sky, a track from the Brit's hit 2010 album Soldier of Love, according to AllHipHop.com.

The reworked song will be released as part an upcoming Sade hits box set, Ultimate Collection, which is due to hit music retailers in May.
