Jessica Simpson fuels baby rumours

Jessica Simpson has sparked she is pregnant with her first child after failing to hide what looked to be a baby bump as she arrived in an LA airport.

The singer first fuelled the rumours when she refused to toast her fiance Eric Johnson's 32nd birthday with champaign at a party last month, but has refused to discuss the rumours.

Simpson did not quash the rumours with her recent appearance, as she was spotted at the airport wearing a baggy black sweater and holding a large handbag close to her bulging tummy.

Simpson and Johnson announced their engagement last November, but recently said that they were in no hurry to get wed.

She said: ""We're enjoying our commitment to each other. We want to take our time... We might elope if it gets to that point."

Simpson is reported to give birth next spring.
