Jessica Simpson reveals she's to be a 'mummy' for Halloween

Jessica Simpson has confirmed rumours she's pregnant with her first child with a fun Halloween post online.

Reports suggesting the singer turned fashion designer was pregnant surfaced in September, but the blonde beauty refused to deny or confirm the claims, despite the photos that appear to show her growing belly.

Now the mum-to-be has broken her silence and announced the news on her website.

Posting the photo of herself as a mummified figure for the festivities, Simpson cradles her bulging belly with the caption: "It's true - I'm going to be a mummy!"

Simpson and finance Eric Johnson announced their engagement last November and are expected to wed before the end of the year.
