Jessica Simpson has scored with another sportsman following her split from Tony Romo - the pop singer is reportedly dating former footballer Eric Johnson.

Simpson has been single since breaking up with Dallas Cowboys quarterback Romo last summer, and now she's being romanced by the ex-San Francisco 49ers and New Orleans Saints player, reports TMZ.com. According to the website, the pair has been dating since May.

Johnson filed for divorce from his wife in February (10), while Simpson's romances with stars including John Mayer, Dane Cook and Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine have hit headlines since her 2006 divorce from former boyband star Nick Lachey.
