Jimi Hendrix's Cousin Dies

The cousin of late guitar legend Jimi Hendrix has passed away at the age of 65.

Robert F. Hendrix died suddenly on Sunday (19Feb12) while vacationing in Hawaii with his wife Sharon.

A statement released shortly after his passing reads, "Bob will be fondly remembered for his leadership and for his deep affection and his kind, caring and loyal characteristics.

"Always friendly and charismatic, Bob lived life to the fullest, and always touched the heart of everyone that he made contact with. His spirit will be cherished and will never cease to fade".

Robert F. Hendrix worked to preserve the tragic icon's legacy by founding two companies in his name, Experience Hendrix and Authentic Hendrix.
