Jonas Running for Charity

Pop star Joe Jonas is taking part in a charity run in Texas to raise money for the Jonas Brothers' children's charity.

The Love Bug singer is launching the iWin Joe Jonas Fun Run, a five kilometre (3.1 mile) race in San Antonio, which will benefit the band's Change for the Children Foundation and Special Olympics Texas, which providessports training for disabled kids and adults.

Jonas will lead the runners, and 15 participants will be specially selected to run alongside the star at the front of the pack.

They will also be treated to a meet-and-greet with the 19 year old.

Andi Baca Kelly, public relations co-ordinator for Special Olympics Texas, says, "(Jonas) is a runner, and he wanted to do something that promoted health and got people moving. We're very excited".

The run will take place early on 13 August (09) - before Jonas joins his brothers Kevin and Nick onstage at the city's AT&T Arena for a sold-outconcert.
