The Jonas Brothers have spent a small fortune on wedding gifts for strangers - because their fans often ruin newlyweds' big day.

The trio inadvertently find themselves staying in hotels staging nuptials from time to time, and they always upset brides, grooms and angry mums.

Kevin Jonas explains, "We've had a couple of instances where there's been weddings going on during the time we're at the hotel... You get brideslike, 'You've ruined my wedding.'"

Brother Nick adds, "A hundred to 12 hundred fans will show up outside the hotel... and the bride... her wedding's ruined, because there's just screaming fans the whole time and it just turns into a big mess.
