Kanye West Heads To Hindu Retreat

Kanye West  is planning a getaway to an Indian religious retreat in a bid to turn his life around, according to U.S. tabloid reports.

The star recently revealed he would be taking time out to re-assess his life after storming the stage and humiliating Taylor Swift at September's MTV Video Music Awards.

He has since cancelled his joint tour with Lady GaGa, and sources claim West is planning to escape to spend a month at a Hindu ashram in Pondicherry, India.

An insider tells Star magazine, "He feels terrible about hurting Taylor Swift and sees it as another sign that his life is going in the wrong direction since his mother died”
