Federline Back With Spears: 'I'll Never Say Never

Kevin Federline has dismissed reports he and ex-wife Britney Spears are trying to repair their broken marriage - but insists a reconciliation could happen in the future.

As the pop princess battles to get her life and career back on track, following a traumatic year that cost her the custody of her kids with Federline, gossips have speculated the pair may reunite.

The wannabe rapper/DJ insists a renewed romance with Spears isn't on the horizon - two years after they split - but he'll "never say never".

Federline tells People magazine, "I'm one to say never say never. I mean, I'm not going to sit here and say I'm geared up to go down that route, but who knows what the future holds for anybody. You try to do the right thing and hopefully everything will turn out all right".

Meanwhile it's been revealled Kevin Federline has stayed single and dateless since his divorce from Britney Spears, so he could put the welfare of their two sons first.

Spears has dated and been linked with a string of suitors since the marriage ended in 2006.

But Federline - who has custody of Sean Preston, three, and Jayden James, two - has rejected any romantic advances, for the happiness and welfare of the tots.

He tells People magazine how he has spent the past two years: "I don't feel comfortable bringing women in and out of the kids' lives.

"I've taken that time out to sit back and enjoy having my kids, show them what it's like to have normal, stable lives. The first couple years of their life they were all over the place. I made sure that the kids were ok".
