Kid Cudi Pulls out of Gaga Tour

Kid Cudi has pulled out of his support slot on Lady Gaga's tour - just days after he allegedly punched a fan.

The hip-hop star stepped up to prepare the crowds for the Poker Face hitmaker after Kanye West axed his joint tour with the singer at short notice in October (09).

But, after less than a month opening for Gaga, Kid Cudi has decided to pull out of the shows.

A statement from the star reads, "Kid Cudi has decided to take an earlyleave of absence from Lady Gaga's Monster Ball tour, in order to balancehis schedule surrounding the recording of his next album and acting commitments.

"Cudi does not want to disappoint his fans and will move forward with his individual show dates in December and throughout the month of January".

During a gig in Canada on Saturday (12Dec09), Cudi - real name Scott Mescudi - is said to have punched a fan. Michael Sharpe alleges he was hit in the face by the star, but he's not planning on taking the incident anyfurther.
