Kylie Minogue lingerie sells for £5,000

Kylie Minogue's lingerie set has fetched £5,000 at an auction in London.

The red silk La Perla intimates were expected to sell for as much as £4,000, but bidding quickly went past that figure at the Christie's sale.

Minogue wore the ensemble during a photoshoot for the 2012 study Vox Foundation charity calendar.

The bustier and body were bought by an unnamed fan.

Kylie tweeter about the sale, saying: "Thx (thanks) to the mystery buyer!!! WOW! So thrilled and for a great cause."
