Lady Gaga might look like she’s borrowed half of her outfits from some little green man from outer space, but now it seems as though the style queen could have a more obvious meaning behind her clothes.
The blonde bombshell, who is famous for her OTT wardrobe choices might look like she’s walked straight out of an underground commercial for LSD, but she’s actually admitted that it was her use of cocaine that initially inspired her wacky wardrobe.
Speaking to Rolling Stone magazine, she said; "My cocaine soundtrack was The Cure. I loved all their music, but I listened to this one song on repeat while I did bags and bags of cocaine. I didn’t think there was anything wrong with me until my friends came over and said, 'Are you doing this alone?' and I had to say, 'Um, yes. Me and my mirror'.
“But I was able to stop, because I was panicking more on the drugs than I was sober. So I’m fine now. I’m not gonna say that I don’t party, but it’s not everyday, and it’s no longer a tool for my creativity."
Well Gaga, let’s just hope your legions of fans don’t follow in your footsteps, glamorising drugs is soooo 1970’s!
