Lady Gaga might be used getting a slating over her odd fashion choices by now, but it seems that her whole ensemble at the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday might have landed her in deep water.
The starlet, who told the story of her own death during her performance of single, Paparazzi, at the show, has been slammed by a suicide prevention group who think she’s sent out an "irresponsible" message.
During the song, she appeared to "stab" herself in the chest before starting to stagger across the stage as fake blood begin pouring out of her, all this before she decided to dangle lifelessly from a rope.
The group in question, PAPYRUS, have issued a statement saying, "This act is not cool – sensationalising and romanticising suicide is irresponsible. Celebrities, who are often idolised by young people, need to be more aware of the impact that such acts can have on vulnerable young people."
So, od you think Gaga took things too far this time or should she be left to roam free with her so-called "art installations"?
