Lady Gaga has launched her new perfume in New York, and invited Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan to watch her sleep.
The launch of her first fragrance was always going to be an odd affair, but most of Gaga's guests may been surprised by how strange the evening quickly became.
Arriving at the Guggenheim museum in an open top vintage car, Gaga climbed inside a giant version of her perfume bottle and fell asleep.
For two hours.
Guests were then invited to touch Gaga, but not wake her up, and stroke her hand through the installation.
If assembled fans and celebrities through the evening was as weird as it was going to get, they were in for a surprise.
After waking up, the Singer then had a tattoo of a cherub inked on to a newly shaved bald patch on the back of her head.
All while the rest of party-goers sipped champagne and ate canapes around her.
At The End of the night, Gaga escaped wearing a floral coat that looked a little like a sleeping bag that had been zipped up over her head.
The only way to be sure it was her was by the massive platform lace-up boots she was wearing.
Somewhere amongst all the Performance, Gaga was supposed to be launching her perfume Fame.
If this is what she does for a perfume, her fans must be wondering what she has planned to mark the release of her next album.
