Kasabian, Ladyhawke and Deadmau5 have all been announced as part of the soundtrack for football game FIFA 13.

It may sound trivial, but the announcement of the soundtrack to sports videogame FIFA is a veritable who’s who of music.

Inclusion on to the giant mixtape means a massive audience, with last year’s addition of the game selling more than 10 million copies.

With a similar amount of sales expected for FIFA 13, it’s a golden ticket for any artist, with those on the soundtracks usually going on to have stellar years with Sam Sparro, MGMT and Ladytron all got their big breaks on the game.

This time around, there are 50 artists from 12 different countries represented, as the game’s makers continue to showcase a global roster of music.
