Leann Rimes' ex Dean Sheremet has found an unlikely shoulder to cry on - his love rival Eddie Cibrian's estranged wife Brandi Glanville.

The country singer/actress confirmed she is ending her marriage to dancer Sheremet earlier this week (01Sep09) after months of speculation surrounding her romance with Northern Lights co-star Cibrian.

The pair were sparked rumours of an affair after snaps of them kissing on an intimate date were published in the U.S. press.

They've put the pieces together about the last few months, and they're developing a good friendship through this.

Cibrian, who has two sons with Glanville, has also kickstarted divorce proceedings.

However, it seems Sheremet has gained something from his wife's new lovelife - a confident in Glanville, according to UsWeekly.com.

A source tells the publication, "They have been supporting each other.

"They've put the pieces together about the last few months, and they're developing a good friendship through this."
