Black Reveals Emotional Gig Over Lennon's Death

Cilla Black, who was close friends with John Lennon and The Beatles said how she almost broke down in tears before a gig after hearing the news of Lennon’s death.

Speaking on the 30^th anniversary of Lennon’s tragic death, Black reveals she was over come with emotion.

She said: “I did go a little bit, on my 'goodnights', yeah. It was emotional.”

The British singer sang a cover of John Lennon’s imagine during the gig.

It is exactly 30 years ago since The Beatles member was murdered in New York in 1980.
