Lewis Returns to U.K. to Save Relationship

Leona Lewis has reportedly scrapped plans to make America her permanent base so she can return to the U.K. and focus on her relationship with boyfriend Lou AL-Chamaa.

The London-born singer vowed to stay close to her family in the Britishcapital after she won U.K. talent show The X Factor in 2006, but earlier this month (May09) it was reported she had decided to buy a house and settle in Los Angeles after recording her second album there.

But the Bleeding Love singer is rumored to have changed her mind about living in the city after her longterm partner refused to leave his native U.K..

A source tells Britain's News of the World, "Leona knows Lou was reaching breaking point. If she wanted to stay with him she was going to have to move back. He's got a good job in music and wasn't prepared to move to America. He was sick of all the visits over and was starting to get jealous about her friendships".

The pal adds that Lewis will now be permanently based in London, but will still be making plenty of trips back to America.
