Les Paul honoured with new monument

Les Paul is to be honoured with a new monument at the site of his final resting place in Wisconsin.

The music legend's Les Paul Estate commissioned stonemasons at Rock of Ages to build a large granite monument, which will feature the star's biography and stand at the Prairie Home Cemetery.

Paul's family members will hold a public dedication ceremony at the site this Saturday, according to Associated Press.

The music pioneer passed away in 2009, aged 94.
