Liam Gallagher is heading back to the studio to record an album - and he's already bragging his new band will be "better than Oasis".
The band split in August (09) when Gallagher's guitarist brother, Noel, quit following a backstage fight with his sibling before a show in Paris, France.
Gallagher has confirmed he is already working on new material, with plans to release his first non-Oasis record next summer (10).
And he's confident his former fans will be won over by his new music.
He tells MTV, "We've been demo-ing some songs that we've had for a bit. Just doing that, on the quiet, not making a big fuss about it. AfterChristmas we might go in the studio and record them and hopefully have an album out in July. "We'll do it in a different kind of way now.
