A New York judge has dismissed a lawsuit against Dj Drama after bosses atLil Wayne's label Cash Money Records failed to establish a "valid legal claim" against the mixmaster in a copyright infringement suit.

Executives at Cash Money, owned by Wayne's mentor Bryan 'Baby' Williams and his brother Ronald 'Slim' Williams, filed a federal lawsuit against Drama's company Aphilliates Music Group, Makin Moves Entertainment, BCD Music Group and others, claiming they were owed damages after the companies distributed various mix projects, which feature the rapper, throughout U.S. record stores without compensating the star.

But the suit was thrown out earlier this week (begs14Sep09) after a judge found it held no legal merit

DJ Drama insists the case won't drive a wedge between Wayne and himself "The accusations against me are misplaced. This is not a case of Lil Wayne vs DJ Drama. "Me and Wayne are good.

I am confident that this matter will be resolved quickly without harming the relationships between myself, Wayne and Cash Money Records".
