Linkin Park cancel last tour date for Bennington to have surgery

Chester Bennington has been forced to cancel the final performance of Linkin Park's world tour to undergo surgery.

The In The End hitmakers were scheduled to stage the last show of their A Thousand Suns tour in Florida on 16 October but they're axed the gig so Bennington can have treatment on his shoulder.

The band broke the news on their official website in a memo: "As much as we were looking forward to rocking our final date of the year with our Florida fans, Chester has been advised to have immediate shoulder surgery as a result of an injury he sustained during our recent tour in Asia."
