Country singer Melissa Etheridge was inspired to get involved with environmental issues after battling breast cancer.The I'M The Only One star was diagnosed with the disease in October 2004 and, although now in remission, she decided to give more of herself to the world.And when she was approached to provide music for the acclaimed documentary An Inconvenient Truth, narrated by former Us Vice President Al Gore, she jumped at the chance to spread environmental awareness.She says, "This was a very special opportunity for me.
