Rap Mogul Marion 'Suge' Knight has been forced to sell his rcord label Death Row Records to a Tennessee-based independent label.Susan Berg's Global Music Group is run by a a former skincare purchased the company for $25 million (£12.5 million) at auction on Tuesday.The colossal sum, which beat music heavyweights such as the Warner Music Group, also bought her the rights to unreleased recordings by late rapper Tupac Shakur and other hip-hop gems. As well as Shakur, Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre once called Death Row Records home before falling out with Knight, who founded the company in 1991, however, the label was placed into receivership when Knight filed for bankruptcy.Insiders claim Berg and her Global Music Group partners now own several albums worth of Shakur's music, and it's possible for the label to release a new album of his material later this year.Celebrating at the BET Awards on Tuesday night, Berg told reporters, "I got the whole f**king s**t".
