Westlife star Mark Feehily regrets the band's 2004 Rat Pack covers album - he wants to forget the release ever happened.
The 29 year old admits the band was in turmoil after Brian McFadden quit and bosses at their record company urged them to adopt a retro sound for Allow Us To Be Frank, which incorporated the music of legendary artistsincluding Frank Sinatra.
But Feehily wishes they hadn't released the swing album.
He says, "Let's forget that, actually. That was a weird time in our career. I'm not making excuses for it, but Brian McFadden had just left. We kind of didn't know what to do".
But the star is pleased with the group's new musical direction "Our new album, Where We Are, is genuinely a move in a certain direction. I meanit's definitely not the predictable same old thing, covers or whatever".
