Metallica to Rock Peru With Country's Largest Concert

Rockers Metallica are preparing to make history in Peru next year (10) - with the biggest concert in the country's history.
The Enter Sandman hitmakers will play in the capital of Lima on 9 January (10), and organisers are already predicting a turnout of more than 50,000.
Metallica can't perform to less than 40,000, so that's why we considered this stage which meetsall the security requirements
Promoters will stage the show at the spectacular Universidad Mayor de San Marcos Stadium, and have assured fans months ahead that the venue can accommodate the record crowd.
Promoter Koko Fernandez tells LivingInPeru.com, "Metallica can't perform to less than 40,000, so that's why we considered this stage which meetsall the security requirements".
