Michael Jackson Has Flesh-Eating Virus

Michael Jackson might have taken his addiction to surgery too far now after it was reported that his latest bout of plastic surgery on his nose has left him with an MRSA-type virus.

What's more, the superbug - which is resistant to conventional antibiotics - could develop into a flesh-eating infection that could eat away parts of his skin, particularly on his face.

The Thriller star has been receiving antibiotics via an intravenous drip in a bid to beat the bug, which sources claim has spread throughout his body and could leave him needing major surgery.

Reports in the Sun newspaper showed pictures of the singer leaving a clinic in Beverly Hills, California after a regular check-up, wearing dark glasses, a surgical hat and mask, yet the hoards of fans waiting outside were visibly shocked to see the star's normally pale skin looking sore and inflamed with purple and red blotches on his face and hands.

A source told the paper: "Michael Jackson has a severe staph infection that he contracted during work to reconstruct his nose. The disease is an MRSA-style infection because it is resistant to conventional antibiotics, so he has been visiting a clinic to get antibiotics via an IV drip.

"The infection has spread throughout his face and body and is being aggressively treated by doctors. There's a chance it could turn into a flesh-eating disorder where it begins to kill off his skin so he's being very carefully monitored."
