Murray Loses Medical Licence in Texas

Michael Jackson's incarcerated doctor Conrad Murray has been banned from practising medicine in the state of Texas.

The embattled physician is currently serving a four-year sentence for involuntary manslaughter at Los Angeles County Men's Jail after he was found guilty of administering the fatal drug dose which cost the King of Pophis life in 2009.

Murray, who pleaded not guilty to the charge, is seeking to appeal his conviction, but now his reputation has taken another blow - officials at the Texas Medical Board suspended his licence on Friday (10Feb12).

A spokesperson for the Board says, "This achieves the same effect as licence revocation".

Murray was stripped of his medical credentials by members of the Medical Board of California in January (12).
