JACKSON: 'I'M NOT SELLING BEATLES BACK CATALOGUE'MICHAEL JACKSON has hit out at reports he may have to sell the rights to the
BEATLES' back catalogue to clear his debts.Recent news reports claim the singer, who is currently on trial accused of
molesting an underage cancer sufferer, was attempting to offload his 50 per cent
share of the legendary band's hits so he could pay off a $275 million debt
prosecutors claim he must meet by the end of the year (05).A recent prosecution request to have Jackson's financial records subpoenaed at
his trial reads: "I am informed that the defendant Michael Jackson was facing a
dire financial crisis at the time of the charged offenses."I am also informed and believe that Michael Jackson faces a crushing amount of
personal debt mounting to well over 275 million dollars which will be due and
payable in December of this year."But a spokesperson for Jackson denies all claims: "There have been numerous
reports regarding the sale, or portions thereof, of Michael Jackson's music
catalogue. These reports are not true."Jackson has pleaded not guilty to 10 felony charges of child molestation,
