Michael Jackson's father Joe has lost his court battle to discredit the King of Pop's estate executors - after a Los Angeles judge approved the administrators listed in his son's 2002 will.

The pop superstar, who passed away in June (09), left his estate in thehands of John Branca and John McClain in the event of his death, according to the document.

Its validity was called into question by Jackson family members, after it emerged the hitmaker was in New York on the date he is said to have signed the document in California.

Joe Jackson subsequently took legal action to have the pair disqualified, claiming Branca and McClain hid a mistake in the will from the courts.

But papers were signed by a judge on Thursday (12Nov09).

The ruling comes days after family matriarch Katherine Jackson publiclydisputed Joe's opposition, claiming she had no issues with the executorsof the singer's estate.

Her lawyer Adam Streisand appeared in court on Tuesday (10Nov09), arguing Joe has no legal standing to object to the validity of the will or to the estate executors, because he was excluded from the list of beneficiaries.
