Mick Hucknall Hits On West End Stage.SIMPLY RED frontman MICK HUCKNALL is following in the footsteps of ROD STEWART, QUEEN and ABBA by creating a musical for the London stage, using all of his biggest hits.The FAIRGROUND singer is currently reworking his favourite songs to incorporate a Latin feel and intends to use the music to tell a love story set in Cuba.The show, named SIMPLY CUBAN, will be choreographed by ARLENE PHILLIPS, who currently stars as a judge on British TV show STRICTLY COME DANCING.Phillips explains, "It will be a love story interwoven with events from Cuban history."It will be the Simply Red songs we all know but with a Latin feel, and lots of salsa."0Comments | Be the first to comment!
