Backstage brawl at Ozone awards

Trae and Mike Jones stole the show at Monday's Ozone Awards - by fighting backstage before the ceremony began.Jones was punched in the fracas and Trae was escorted from the Houston event, but appeared later to pick up his Mixtape Monster award.The fight started while the rappers were having a conversation, and Trae threw the first punch, Jones revealed. Talking after the ceremony, Jones called Trae's actions a publicity stunt. He says, "It was the perfect time to do this and they don't have to pay for advertising and promotion and they need that."He came and shook my hand and I guess he was mad cause I called myself The President... I'm the president of H-Town, I run this city. After we shook our hands and had our words, I went my way and the next thing you know he snuck up behind me and hit me on my side."Then someone else jumped in and tried to hit me in my nose. But I still got up there on the Ozone Awards and performed."Jones insists the feud isn't over: "It's gonna get handled in the streets. I came to the Ozone Awards for my song Cutty Buddy and he came from behind my back like a coward. It's sad we have to talk about this."
