Miley Cyrus' 'stoner' comment was a joke

Miley Cyrus' team are on damage control after the star claimed she's becoming a 'stoner'.

Representatives for the 19-year-old have said the comments made at her birthday party last week were sarcastic, after she was caught on camera giggling: "You know you're a stoner when friends make you a Bob Marley cake - you know you smoke way too much f**kin' weed."

Friends presented the Hannah Montana star with a cake in the shape of the pot-smoking reggea legend Bob Marley.

But a rep for the singer/actress tells Access Hollywood: "The cake was a joke and Miley was being sarcastic. It is being completely taken out of context."

On Sunday, Cyrus' friend Kelly Osbourne, who was at the party, took to twitter to tell Miley's fans that it was a joke.
