Miley Cyrus wants grown up film roles for her Christian beliefs

Teen star Miley Cyrus wants to land some grown-up film roles - but only if they fit her Christian beliefs.

The Hannah Montana star, 16, is eyeing her future and admits she is keen to take on more "edgy" parts.

But the regular churchgoer is adamant she will turn down roles that could possibly compromise her religious upbringing.

She says, "I want to play edgy roles, but I think that my faith is obviously very important to me, so there's a way of doing that. Then also being the person that you want to be and not letting your roles take over your life, and I don't want to do anything wrong with my roles, because it's a job".

Cyrus also admits she has a Hollywood role model - Silence of the Lambs star Jodie Foster.

She adds "She's actually one of the nicest people, so if I was gonna go after anyone, it might be Jodie Foster".
