Coyle Calls Off Engagement

British pop star Nadine Coyle has ended her romance with former American football star Jason Bell, less than a year after they became engaged.

The Girls Aloud singer announced plans to wed Bell in September (10), and admitted she was hoping to celebrate their nuptials in multiple wedding ceremonies around the world.

But Coyle reveals the couple recently parted ways.

Taking to Twitter.com on Tuesday (31May11), she writes, "A few weeks ago Jason and i broke up. We are great friends and decided we are better this way. Im in Nyc working and I love all your support".

A former Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Houston Texans star, Bell is now a financial advisor.
