Natalie Cole Leaves Hospital

Natalie Cole has finally been allowed to return home after undergoing a successful kidney transplant.

The singer checked out of the hospital on Sunday, and was expected on Monday to attend a private family memorial service for her sister Carol 'Cookie' Cole.

Her adopted sibling, who was raised as her sister but was actually a cousin, died from lung cancer on the same day the star underwent her life-saving operation.

Cole's representative tells FemaleFirst; "Natalie is continuing to do well under the circumstances."
